The DCSWCC was established for collectors in the DC Metro area to help each other in their collecting endeavors as well as share information and ideas. Monthly meetings at local libraries allow time for members to trade, swap, and sell Star Wars collectibles; listen to presentations on specific areas of collecting; relate news, announcements, and information; and socialize with others who share the Star Wars collecting passion. In addition, meetings and socials have served as opportunities to help the community at large by collecting for charity.
