![]() Every Friday my daughter (who's six) and I pop some popcorn and sit down to watch "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" on Cartoon Network. While I always have been and always will be an "OT geek", I enjoy the show a great deal. I love that fact that it continues to bring us interesting new stories from my favorite galaxy far, far away... and that it has helped bring my daughter the same love of Star Wars that I have - a love that can only be born in the heart of a child; after all, I was about her age when I saw "A New Hope" for the first time. Well, in their latest efforts Acme Aarchives has created two awesome new fine art prints that capture the very essence of "The Clone Wars". These will definitely be hanging in my daughter's bedroom this holiday season.... because they certainly qualify as Swagalicious!

Well, I guess even crazed Star Wars fans have spending limits. Check out this giant AT-AT made of wood, cardboard and duct tape that ebay user komanac of Lethbridge, AB, Canada was trying to auction for a starting bid of $400. It looks pretty well done considering the materials... but $400 cool? Considering the auction ended without a bid... I guess not! Still I admire his pasion to make this piece of "fan art". This video by talented animator Jeremy Messersmith is adorkable... and it has swept over the Internet in waves. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out. It deserves its place in the viral video hits of the year. (Via BoingBoing) Comment Posted on Oct 6, 2010 by

I never get tired of checking out awesome Star Wars tattoos. While not indulging in any body art myself (not yet anyways), I've really come to appreciate just how sweet getting inked can look. I spent a fair amount of time scoping out the amazing tattoos being done on the floor of Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando this summer. Check out this awesome Star Wars montage on the back of a beach going Star Wars fan over the summer. It's part of a cool collection of Star Wars ink featured on a blog called "Great Tattoos". Hit the link below to see some more - including a full back plate featuring some Imperial awesomeness!!!! (Via Great Tattoos) Comment Posted on Oct 6, 2010 by
