People vs George Lucas Gets Theatrical Release

The festival favorite "The People vs George Lucas", directed by Alexandre O. Philippe, will indeed get a theatrical release in select cities. The folks behind the film have slated screenings in four major cities around the country for a minimum of one week in each city:

• 6 May: New York City – Cinema Village
• 13 May: Los Angeles – Nuart
• 28 May: Chicago – Siskel Film Center
• 17 June: Denver - Denver Film Center

The film was awarded "Best of the Fest" at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and was also nominated for Best Documentary Screenplay by the Writers Guild of America. To learn more about how the film was created check out our interview with the director and check out the film's official site.
