Star Wars Art Exhibit to Hit Los Angeles

Los Angeles will once again be the place to be in the Star Wars galaxy this Saturday August 20th as Hold Up Art Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles (Little Tokyo) will host a special opening reception of "Art From a Galaxy Far Far Away- The Star Wars Art of Randy Martinez and Denise Vasquez" from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The opening reception will feature great art, music, food, and some surprises. The show will be on display from August 20th through September 15th, 2011 and is open to the public.

The show will feature Martinez's official Star Wars art for Lucasfilm, including many brand new pieces. Vasquez has created a whole series of Dia De Los Muertos Star Wars dolls that vinyl fans and art nuts will certainly be looking forward to seeing. Martinez said, "We are both really excited as this is one of the biggest days of our professional careers. The show promises to be much more than art work on the walls, this is going to be an experience."
