Star Wars Celebration VI Announced!

The starwarscelebration.com website has announced that Star Wars Celebration VI, or C6 as it's already being called by fans, will be making a repeat visit to Orlando, Florida at the Orange Country Convention Center from August 23-26, 2012. Tickets and hotel reservations are already available via the website, as Star Wars fans will immediately begin preparing for the festivities.

Ticket information from the website:

" Thursday, Friday, and Sunday Passes are $55, Saturday Passes are $65, Adult Four-Day Passes are $135, Kids Four-Day Passes are $54, and Kids One-Day Passes are $27. Order your tickets online to avoid the lines on-site and save some credits, as prices will be more expensive at the door."

Star Wars Celebration V was also at the Orange County Convention Center back in August of 2010. The "main event" at that celebration featured a sit-down discussion between George Lucas and John Stewart. There were hundreds of hours of programming, loads of exclusive merchandise and countless Star Wars celebrities and VIPs in attendance - including Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.
