Star Wars Galaxy 4 Artist Return Sketch Card Hits Ebay

Casual fans may not be aware, but when Topps releases a set of Star Wars trading cards that includes original artist sketch cards, each participating artist is allowed to select a few of their sketches as "artist return" cards. From there, they are free to do what they wish with them. Some artists decide to keep their return cards as personal mementos, but others take some extra time to create finished pieces of art from their cards and offer them to the public.

When these artist return cards are offered to the public, usually via sketch card message boards or ebay, the competition to acquire them is often quite intense. After all, these cards are viewed by collectors as finished pieces of art, merely on a smaller canvas of sorts. Prices can be quote steep, but as the old saying goes... you get what you pay for.
